I was watching meal idea videos on youtube, came across one for a breakfast sandwich. The woman on the vid makes an egg frittata thing, topped with a cheese slice in a muffin which sounds good.
She also says you can freeze them (altigether with the cheese and muffin), which would be ideal to make in advance for work. However, freezing cooked egg just seems off to me for some reason. Like the texture would end up too rubbery or too mushy when defrosted.
Before I waste my eggs, has anyone reheated frozen eggs? Did they taste fine after?
Does it make a difference if they’re cooked in a frying pan or in the oven (she bakes them in a glass dish, if that makes a difference).
