Breakfast cereal struggles

What are your current breakfast time struggles with young children. My niece and nephew seem to love cereal one week and then its eggs and pancakes the next week!

Do you allow a chocolate cereal at the weeknd for a treat or is there always a box because that's the only thing they will eat?

also cold cereal when you get in from school or for supper is the business :D

I don’t eat cereal myself often at all as I to grew up with a crust of sugar on mine. Weetabix with a sugar crust, porridge with brown sugar on it, I even put sugar on crunchy nut!! So I just don’t eat it very often at all now because I have to put tons of sugar on. I don’t put any on my son’s so then he won’t get used to it.
