Does polenta / sadza freeze OK?

Anybody tried this?

I can never get through a full packet of ready-made before it goes off.

I've never frozen polenta - I only make enough for the actual meal.
Is sadza the same as the "mealie pap" that I had in Botswana?

Can't see why it wouldn't freeze, but you've got nothing to lose by trying it.

Yes, sadza = mealie pap; all variations on polenta.

I live alone so it's not practical to just make for one – and anyway I'm disabled and have to minimise cooking. I bulk cook and freeze whatever possible, or buy ready-made and freeze.

As you say, looks like I'll just have to try. I'll slice it first and freeze flat...
