BBQ side dishes

Hosting a family bbq on Sunday. Leaving the meat to DH but would like to prepare some nice salads. I have no idea where to start to make a nice tasty one at home. Usually cheat and order from Cook!
Any ideas? Please add as much info as you possibly can, cookings isn’t my forte.
Was thinking maybe a couscous salad. A homemade coleslaw. A lettuce salad. Or a Greek type salad? Maybe something with potatoes?

This salad has been a huge hit at my BBQs:

I also like doing some veggies on the BBQ, eg mixed veggie skewers (with pieces of aubergine, courgette, peppers, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes etc), or grill corn on the cob or asparagus spears.

This couscous salad is fab though I've never added pomegranate seeds. (Can be made days in advance)

Asparagus spears wrapped in Parma ham and drizzled with Olive oil and roasted

Guacamole

Pico de Gallo

I always make a remoulade always big with a home made coleslaw

My side dishes usually depend on what meat we’re having and how we’re having it.
If we’re going quite American, with drumsticks, beef burgers and hot dogs, then I’ll probably do corn on the cob, onion rings, sweet potato fries, coleslaw and green salad.
If we’re doing marinated chicken shish kebabs and lamb burgers, I’d go more Middle Eastern/Greek with a couscous salad, chickpea salad, fattoush www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/fattoush flatbread, falafel, tzatziki, hummus, red cabbage slaw www.waitrose.com/home/recipes/recipe_directory/r/red-cabbage-coleslawwithmiddleeasternspices.html etc...
If we keep it quite traditional with good old British bangers, chicken breast fillets and perhaps burgers, I’d go for a potato salad, mixed bean salad www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/mixed_bean_salad_89055 (will keep, covered, in the fridge for 2–3 days, in fact this will allow the flavours to develop), courgette salad and grilled lettuce.

Really simple old Yugoslav recipe - cabbage salad.

Slice a sweetheart cabbage as thinly as you can, drizzle with red wine vinegar and oil. Let it sit in the fridge for an hour or so.

It's really crisp and refreshing and goes very well with meat!
