I always have loads of macaroni cheese in my freezer. The kids love it and it's quick and easy to make.

MissGrissindor, can you cook that from frozen ?

Was thinking of buying some of those foil trays to freeze everything in and then put the trays straight in the oven from the freezer.

Who has that sort of freezer space in the UK?

In my DREAMS!

In a pinch, it's beans on toast w/cheese and a dash of Worcestershire sauce on top, under the grill, pasta with a jar of Dolmio and a can of M&S chicken or turkey on top, tortilla with frijoles and cheese on the comal, etc.

Homemade pasta sauce - courgettes, mushrooms, onions, garlic fried up, with tin of tomatoes plus extra tomato puree, and sweetcorn thrown in. Season with basil and pepper. Cool and freeze either as it is or you can pulverise it in the liquidiser for a smoother sauce.
Defrost, heat it up and tip it over pasta.

I might have a big one expat
