Soup that doesn't need blending?

I like chunky soups but have only ever found recipes that involve blending. Also I can't be bothered to muck around with a blender Grin Do any non-blend recipes exist? I know they must but I can't find any! Would appreciate any pointing in the right direction. Tia

Lentil-if you cut the onion small.

We do an Italian thing with rice and potatoes and sometimes butter beans, sort of a very wet risotto. Gorgeous with lots of grated parmesan on top.

Ham and bean soup. Hearty and delicious.

I'll google some of these and get some recipes. Hurrah!

A clear-ish soup with vegetables. (And shredded chicken/prawns if you like)
I do a quick version with with either Miso paste or vegetable stock, (fresh or Marigold) and then just add some ginger, spring onion, shredded greens, finely sliced or julienne carrot/peppers/fennel/celery - whatever I have. Sometimes I add some frozen peas and/or timmed sweetcorn. Maybe a bit of chilli or a squeeze of limejuice for extra zing. Takes about five minutes. (Not hearty though - light)

I use a stick blender if I do want the soup smushed or part-smushed.

Borscht!

Just don't blend the soup at the end?

Cut things up a bit smaller and just leave it.
