What can I do in my new dehydrator?

It was my birthday this week and my DH bought me a dehydrator! I never even knew they were a thing!!

So far I've done banana chips and planning on making some parsnip crisps later this week but would love to hear tried and tested things to do with it? Preferably with times and temperatures if possible :)

Pineapple works really well as does apple

Vegetable crisps! Carrot and beetroot are my favourite

They're great for making dehydrated strawberries/raspberries/cherries which you can then add to cereal/yoghurt etc

I love beef jerky in mine! Thing is you have to start from the day before as it needs to marinate (marinade? Never sure which to say) and then takes all day in the dehydrator and without fail I then eat all the jerky in the space of about two hours. Worth it tho. I love jerky anyway but so fun being able to try different flavours.

DH is wanting to do beef jerky in it. I'm veggie though so won't be trying it 😂

I've bought a plantain to try and a papaya, also really want to try pineapple.

Feeling inspired to drag mine out the cupboard again now! I always wanted to try fruit liner but I can’t find any liners for my particular dehydrator, could probably use baking paper but I’m worried if I cut the size wrong could end up with liquidised fruit all over it

Fruit LEATHER

Successes so far:
Mushrooms
Pineapple
Orange
Banana
Apple

Failures so far:
Plaintain (turns into an inedible dust
Papaya (sour)
Potato (tasteless and salt wouldn't stick to them to make them like crisps)
