Lunch menu for 91yo dad's party

I posted last year for his 90th - same problem. He'll have about 10 friends here. Starters and puddings I can do but I need main course ideas please.

Set up - marquee (well, poshish party tent) in the garden. Probably cold lunch (3 courses) for maybe 20 plus. I'm assuming nice weather on 29th June. I work full time so would like to prepare ahead if possible - have adult dcs around that weekend. We'll follow it with a big BBQ as it's dh's birthday on the same day but that's my comfort zone.

Food for older people therefore more traditional. Last year did an iced chicken curry (coronationish) and salmon plus a vegetarian vegetable tart. PLEASE give me main course ideas. Thanks!

How about doing a fillet of beef - I’ve done this one before and it’s lovely hot or cold www.bbc.com/food/recipes/roast_fillet_of_beef_45803
Then cold salmon en croute or coulibiac and a goats cheese tart/ quiche
As sides I would do potato salad or with a vinaigrette dressing, chargrilled asparagus & broad bean salad plus a mixed leaf salad

Maple roast ham
Lemon and thyme chicken pieces
Potato salad with a mustard dressing
Pea, broad bean and French bean salad with a orange and hazelnut dressing
Roast beetroot with a cumin yoghurt dressing
Cauliflower, mango and spinach salad
Grilled aubergine rounds with a caper and olive dressing

I was going to suggest exactly the same as the other two posters. I was also going to ask how adventurous their tastes were. My grandmother is in her 90s and is so fussy even a herb won't get past her!
Chicken wrapped in Parma ham. My grandma likes cold turkey, could do a nice sauce with it if that's something he likes. Nice homemade quiches. A green bean salad. Slightly warm new potatoes with crispy bacon, sauted leeks and vinaigrette dressing. Or warm new potatoes, tomatoes, green beans onions and vinaigrette salad. Salad nicoise with tuna steaks?

This made a great vegetarian lunch for us on bank holiday www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4716/creamy-courgette-lasagne

Some fab ideas - thank you! They are pretty adventurous - lots of people who've travelled a bit, one Mauritian, one French (step mum) which is why I got cross with dh's suggestion of ham and egg salad! It's not the 70s!

Will have a detailed look through all of your ideas.

Salade Nicoise is quite substantial enough for a main course, and looks lovely and summery. You could offer an asparagus tart as an alternative.

Prawns in a light creamy curried sauce, or potted shrimps & toast, or goat cheese tartlets would be nice light starters.

Fruit fool, rhubarb or gooseberry, with home made biscuits for pudding?
