Hi,

Random question....somehow I have ended up with a big standard Korma sauce in a jar. Can I mix it with some passata to stretch it and make a tomato/butter chicken type thing?

I normally would do coconut milk, curry powder and passata- surely it can't be much different to that?

TIA

Of course you can! I'd be tempted to fry off some additional curry powder with the onions / chicken as otherwise the korma flavour could get lost in the tomatoes.

Thanks! I don't know why I thought it may not work Confused

Yes, I mix a jar of tikka masala sauce with a tin of chopped tomatoes.

I would stretch it with butternut squash chunks or chick peas
