only have 2 biscuits in the cupboard...
can I use those and make the rest up with porridge oats?

I wouldn't have thought so.

You’d end up with a flapjack kind of base? You’ll need more stuff to bind it together than the biscuits.

PotteringAlong · 30/05/2019 10:34

I’d just go and buy a packet of biscuits I think!

There’s no fat or sugar in oats so I can’t imagine it will either taste the same, or hold together the same.

You could try adding sugar and melted butter but as op said, it may taste more like a flapjack base.

It will be yum! But yes you need to add melted butter and syrup and bake first i think.
