Started eating this more as want to cut down on meat.Im getting a lot of bloating and trapped wind.Could it be the quorn? Is it a known side effect?

Yes, I’ve known own a lot of people say this. I rarely use Quorn just replace with veg, haloumi, tofu etc

Have you made other changes to your diet? For example have you increased your intake of fruit/veg/beans/pulses?
Quite often people who go vegetarian/reduce their meat consumption struggle with bloating and wind to start with as their digestion gets used to more "roughage" so it's not necessarily the Quorn

Quorn is nasty.

I’d be replacing it with lentils instead of mince.
Curries with chickpeas
Shroomdogs are nicer than quorn sausages

Have you tasted the quorn nuggets? Exactly like McDonald’s!

PineappleTart · 15/05/2019 09:55

Quorn mince etc really didn't do my tum any good. But the nuggets are really good and agree with pp just like McDonald's

Agree about the nuggets, the southern fried ones are amazing Grin
