any recipes to make banana bread or cake in a breadmaker?

Have the panasonic fancy breadmaker and my ovens on the blink but thought I could make something like this on the bake function? My ds2 is mad about bananas at the moment so should go down nicely?

yeah have a hob but its like cooking on one of those gas rings when your camping. So too boody hot or not hot enough, have burnt one of my nice saucepans

Go onto Panasonic website and download recipe booklet. in my one (for sd 251) there is one for a banana and museli, just read it though and it uses banana chips did you want one with those?

I was thinking of using real bananas, had a look at the recipes in my book and they are inspiring me at all!

I've got one!

Mix together 2 tbsp melted butter, 1 tbsp milk, 1 cup mashed banana, 1 egg, half cup chopped walnuts 1 tsp lemon rind.

In a seperate bowl mix together 1.5 cups plain flour, 0.5 cup bicar of soda, 0.25 cup baking powder, 0.5 cup sugar, pinch salt.

Put both mixtures in bread pan. My machine has a cake setting which I've used for this. I only made it once, but only because it was more of a faff than making it in the normal way.
