Steaming Vs boiling

Is steaming veg healthier than boiling? I suppose I usually boil them to death whereas with steaming they'd retain a bit more bite? I'm looking at starting to wean my DS soon and advice seems to be all steaming veg for babies. Wondering if I should start steaming (for him and us) and how should I go about it? The bamboo steamers look pretty good?

We have a 3 tier metal steamer. Or microwaving will steam too as you don't use a lot of water

Microwave keeps more nutrients I believe

Those metal steamers, do you put them on top of a pan? Might try Argos for one today

They come with a pan with 2 steamer baskets on top. You could for example boil potatoes in the pot and steam broccoli at the same time with one of the metal steamers on top.
