We love pancakes here.im actually frying them as I type. So far we have done buckwheat, banana, apple, plain, chocolate , blueberry , lemon and chocolate chip.

Please can I have your favourite pancake 🥞 recipe to add to my repertoire?

Ma family adores pancakes! Every Sunday is pancake day! Especially with cocoa and banana

100g (4oz) self-raising flour
30g (2 tbsp) caster sugar
1 egg, beaten
100g Natural Yogurt

Whisk them together and drop blobs onto a hot oiled pan then flip when the bubbles come to the top. They turn out like American thick pancakes rather than thin crepes. I mash up strawberries and blueberries in the batter when I've got them.

The batter is almost as stiff as cake batter but it really works. Best topping is maple syrup and bacon and/or sausage.

My favourite recipe for American style pancakes is from a blog called Grace and Good Eats.

I like them topped with nutella, banana, strawberries.

I also make healthy pancakes by whizzing a cup of oats to power, adding to one mashed banana, 1 tsp of baking powder, and a egg.

Scotch pancakes
8 oz self raising flour
4 oz sugar
2 tsp baking powder
3 dessert spoons of veg oil
2 eggs
1 cup of milk (maybe a bit more)
Best thing I ever bought was a pancake/crepe maker. It gets the temperature just right.
