Really yellow buttercream

I need to make yellow buttercream the colour of a Lego minifigure head.
Any tips or suggestions for the best brand food colouring please?

Use gel colour rather than liquid. Sugar flair is good. I've used before and you only need a v small amount.

Use proper paste for it - I usually use Sugarflair and their yellows are pretty true to the claimed colour - have done lego heads before!

Sugarflair 'melon' gel colouring is what j used to get really yellow buttercream. You need to start by adding very little (toothpick end size) and gradually increase till you get the right shade. Beat really well after each addition as the colour tends to get darker when it gets mixed well.
