Drizzling lemon drizzle cake; urgently need advice 😃

I’m baking for a coffee morning in 10 days time. I’m away all next week and need to do the baking before I go. I’ve made a porter cake and 2 carrot cakes. I can ice the carrot cakes the night before when I get back. I’m freezing these until then.
I want to do a couple of lemon drizzle tray baked as well. Can I bake these now, freeze them and do the drizzle when I thaw them next week? It says to drizzle when they are warm so will it work if they’re cold?? Problems problems 🤔

I think the drizzle works better when applied to a warm cake? But I can’t imagine it would be a disaster if it wasn’t!

You have to do the drizzle when the cake is warm.

If you're freezing the rest of the cakes ahead of time it won't take you long to bake a lemon drizzle just before you need it.

Cold drizzle on warm cake, then cool ,freeze, defrost, serve or bake cake,cool,freeze,de-frost,warm drizzle cool serve.

Do the drizzle and then freeze, maybe ice or top up drizzle after defrosting just for that nice glazed effect. I've done this many times and is still miraculously moist!

Varied opinions so. Think I might chance it with the warm drizzle as suggested by beckyb
Normally I’d have no problem just doing it the night before but as it is I fly home Thursday work Friday and am hosting coffee morning Saturday so have to organize tea/coffee cups, plates, seats, clean house etc Saturday morning as well as I’ve the carrot cakes so really want to do the baking ahead of time
