Come on then Mumsnet, what scrummy Saturday night dinners are we all having?

We've got chicken in a bun which has been marinated in Reggae Reggae sauce, homemade slaw and some cold beers (milk for the DC!).

Salmon and asparagus risotto, I debated chicken dippers cos I can't actually be bothered to cook but the asparagus needs eating so risotto it is!

Bang bang cauliflower with rice
Salt and pepper tofu noodles
Sea bass fillet
Stir fried Pak Choi

Steak, crispy potatoes and garlic stuffed pepper. DS has just finished work and has declared it Steak Saturday!

I'm trying to convince my husband to go and get me a mixed kebab. It's a fifty /fifty ...🤣

I have had some chicken marinating all day in a tikka powdered marinade from the Asian section at Morrison’s, it tastes very authentic, mixed with garlic, lemon juice and yoghurt. The Spice mix was 50p and made enough to marinate about 10 chicken breasts!

I then griddled it and had it in wraps with salad and yoghurt and mint sauce.

Bloody blew my head off, but it was good, I could eat it all again.

Dh is calling into the chippy on his way home so I’m having spam fritters and cheesy chips .

Linda McCartney pulled pork burgers with cheese, bbq sauce and probably some oven chips as I can't be bothered to make my own!

DH and the DC are eating out with various people. I have my eye on the hot cross buns. A couple of those with lashings of butter and a cappuccino from the machine is going to be my dinner I think!

Pork ribs with jalapeño coleslaw and a very buttery jacket potato.

And a bag of sour pastilles to watch a film with for pudding.

Curried cod with crispy kale - which I realise makes me sound poncey, but it was really good and the cod needed using up :) Crispy kale is just like the 'seaweed' you get in Chinese restaurants. Twas yum.

Tofu and vege Thai green curry and rice - using a bought paste and Tilda microwave rice as feeling lazy
Treacle tart from Waitrose for pud

Luckily DH is cooking tonight and is making sea bass with sauce vierge, new spuds and green beans. If it had been left up to me, we’d have been having freezer surprise.

Leek and Bacon Flamiche. And obligatory rosé. A salad to make it seem healthy to eat what is basically a fuckton of bread for dinner.

Haggis nachos with peppercorn sauce. Cant wait.

We had homemade from scratch butter chicken with wholegrain rice.
I'm still not too keen on wholegrain rice but the DC's ate it without a fuss which was a nice surprise!

My kids had fishfingers and pasta with veg and we're having a takeaway in a bit.... I'll be over here, hanging my head in shame and ogling all of your amazing sounding meals

A slice and half of hot cross bun loaf and a cup of tea in between calls. Might have sone crackers once I finish work later on

Roast chicken, sweet potato wedges and salad.

Mini cheddars.

Lovely lovely flavours. I like making all the condiments and ingredients myself - za’atar, preserved lemons, zhoug and so on. Great fun.

The dosa sound amazing sackrifice

It was. The coriander/chilli/tomato/lemon/salt whizzed in the ninja was mind blowing.

Chinese takeaway here too!
