I'm looking for something tasty and nice where I can go for Sunday lunch and is also child friendly for a 1year old prefer Italian or a good roast, but am open to suggestions.

Browns is always reliable and very child friendly. It's just across the street from the Fitzwilliam Museum and has some lovely outdoor seating. They usually do a great Sunday roast and the children's menu is nice and varied too.

CB2 is off the Grafton Centre - it is a bistro that does fantastic food and didn't an eyelid when another Mumsnetter and I both went in with a buggy each carrying 14 week old babies. I don't think it does a traditional roast but the bangers and mash are to die for and I am sure they will make something child friendly.

What sort of occasion whould it be for? Does it have to be a restuarant or is a pub suitable? The Salisbury Arms allows children and does a lovely roast . . .
