I read 'Shopped' and really changed our shopping habits as a result! So beware!
We get veg + milk + various other bits from the organic box scheme, and sometimes get meat from them.
Here, we're amazingly lucky, as we have a farmers market co-operative which delivers weekly - so bread from local baker, yoghurt, cakes (mmm, cakes), meat, all sorts. Thye also do pasta and olive oil from an Italian co-op. But we could get this from farmers markets/delis if we tried.
We then top up at the farmers market, organic veg stall, local shops, the Co-op.
And about every 3/4 weeks, go to the supermarket for cat food, frozen peas, toilet roll - I try not to get meat or veg, but only the products of big cos that can afford to be pissed about by the supermarkets. And then I buy the occasional treat and feel guilty.
