Beef in slow cooker

Morning all!
I’ve bought an asda sea salt and black pepper rub small joint of beef for the roast tomorrow. I’m wondering how long and at what heat (low, medium or high) to cook at in the slow cooker please? It says 45 minutes on the pack in the oven.
I’ve never attempted a joint of meat in the sc before and don’t want to ruin it!
Thanks all Grin

I did mine for 6-7 hours on low with a bit of stock. It was lovely. I actually googled it because I wasn't sure myself. Happy slow cooking 😊

I’m worried I’ll add too much liquid, how much is best do you think? I’ve read that you don’t have to add any at all?

Some people don't add any at all. I put enough liquid in to just cover the joint. Once the joint was cooked I removed it, put the slow cooker on high so the liquid was simmering and thickened it with gravy granules. It was delicious 😋

I never add liquid, plenty will come from the joint.
I'd cook that for 4 hours on high, or 6 on low.
