What's for tea?

We've finally been food shopping and I've persuaded DH to cook. We're having peri-peri chicken, wedges and apple & carrot slaw.

What's everyone else having?

Obviously this thread is far too Northern for MN.

Perhaps I would have been better putting Supper instead of tea? Grin

iklboo · 15/03/2019 17:09

Thank you. It's been a crappy week so I thought we'd do something for a family treat. Have a lovely evening.

Sea bass, new potatoes and something involving peppers and capers - not quite sure what, it will evolve when I start cooking!

JiltedJohnsJulie · 15/03/2019 17:15

not quite sure what, it will evolve when I start cooking. You sound like my DF. He used to start most meals by frying an onion and then seeing what he could add.

I've know him serve salad once with fried onions on the side Grin

My eldest has gone to the movies, which leaves me and my youngest. We’re having roast chicken, baguettes, a selection of cheeses, coleslaw, a tomato, avocado, and mozzarella salad, and a pesto that I whipped together after work. Plus wine for me. Perfect night in.

Chancewouldbeafinethlng · 15/03/2019 17:41

I like the sound of your dad, I’d love a fried onion side!

We are going out bowling and will get burgers etc there.

HalfBloodPrincess · 15/03/2019 17:41

Sausage in batter and a chip roll with gravy and mushy peas

Clutterbugsmum · 15/03/2019 17:42

I don't 'cook' on Fridays.

DH had fish fingers in rolls.

DD's had chicken burgers and Salad

DS tomato soup, roll and some mini pizza I chucked in as they been in the freezer since Christmas.

Me haven't got the foggest Idea yet.

mollycoddle77 · 15/03/2019 17:43

Fish fingers for kids fish cake for me, oven chips and peas! It's Friday 😀

Rattlemybrain · 15/03/2019 17:43

I've had an exhausting week so it's going to be tuna pasta with maybe some veggies chucked in, depending on what I can find in the fridge.

Dessert is chocolate cake swiped from someone's birthday at work.

Inkythemouse · 15/03/2019 17:44

We are having slimming world kfc Fakeaway. I'm hoping it tastes as good as it smells otherwise it will be beans on toast Smile
