If I stew some rhubarb tonight and store it overnight in the fridge, will it be ok for tomorrows pudding?

Or will it be all brown and alcoholic??!!

It will be fine but it only takes a few minutes to stew so I wouldn't bother.

yes it will be absolutely fine.

Thanks carmenere.

It only took a few minutes to open a tin of soup today, but was long enough for 9mo DD to insert the sky card in the DVD player

yes, absolutely fine. Be careful not to overcook it though (especially if you intend to reheat it) - as it cools down it will continue to cook slightly, so make sure you don't overdo it if not eating immediately

[Showing off emoticon] I'm making crumble with rhubarb from our allotment tonight!

Apart from cut and come again salad leaves and onions, this is the biggest crop we've had so far, so we're having M&S custard with it

I tried to make authentic custard and it was vile; any tips to put me right?
