Starter ideas for dinner party

I’m cooking a bbc good food recipe - Chinese braised beef as a main. I need some starter ideas that would complement it. Any suggestions? I’m a decent cook but the easier the better 😀

If you want to keep it veggie then it's really nice with salted peanuts or cashews over the top or if you want to put some meat/fish in it then prawns, squid or queen scallops work too - and make sure you serve with plenty of lime wedges

we did these two in the middle of the table an they went dow brilliantly.and youll deff be wanting to make the scallion pancake again!
