Help me out of this rut please. I look cooking, and eating, but I seem to be cooking the same stuff over and over.

My family consists of 2 vegetarians and 2 omnivores.

I regularly cook -

butternut, chickpea and spinach curry, with a bit of chicken thrown in for the Os.

Wraps with salad, protein, sweet potato chips

Pizza or burger and chips or sausage and mash

Pasta with cheese (and tuna) sauce, tomato and chickpea sauce, lasagne

Egg fried rice or noodles with veg/tofu satay sauce.

Bakes consisting of veg, grains, tomatoes topped with cheese

Spinach and ricotta filo or puff pastry pie

Cottage pie

This week I am planning a chicken katsu curry, not sure what the Vs will have. I’ve also bought some salmon.

Please give me some inspiration for exciting, healthy recipes.

Risotto
Gnocchi
Fishcakes (if the vegetarians are actually pescatarians, wasn't sure due to your comment about Salmon)
Roasted cauliflower with cous cous
Soup and sandwiches
Roast Mediterranean Veg with sausages

Maybe look at some Moroccan or Middle Eastern recipes? The flavours really zing - great when you're bored with food. I was given that charity cookbook for Syria for Christmas & there are some amazing recipes in there.

The vegetarians are vegetarian. The salmon and the chicken is for the Os.

We all love cauliflower so will search recipes for that.

Oh and for salmon steaks I usually chuck some sweet chilli sauce over them and either serve with rice and green veg or with mini roast new potatoes and green veg.

Just found this Moroccan recipe

This is the sort of thing I am looking for, thanks Millicent.

All my dishes are different as I basically look at what veg I have in and then cook something with it.

Last night I had a load of spinach and coriander so made a chilli, onion, pepper, quorn, courgette, carrot, spinach and coriander fry up, then put a miso soup sachet in, half a stock cube,a pint of water and then about 50g of gluten free spaghetti in for the noodles.

Earlier in the week I had lemons, so made a chilli, onion, pepper, quorn fry up, added lemon juice, corn flour, honey, turmeric, and then spinach [did I mention I am currently harvesting loads of spinach], and made basically sticky lemon veggies. Had that with rice.

I have a recipe for cauliflower, spinach and lentils in filo pastry, I thought that might be nice with the salmon. Maybe with a spicy tomato sauce and salad.

Sackrifice that sounds lovely. Spinach is another family favourite.

Stuffed mushrooms or peppers
Toad in hole (use veggie sausages or roasted veg for veggies) not that healthy though!
Fritata or quiche
Falafel and pitas
Aubergine parmigiana
Roasted veg/chicken skewers
