Toddler meal ideas

Generally speaking DD eats with us and eats what we eat, but a couple of times a week this isn't possible. I'm totally out of inspiration for quick and easy toddler meals made from stuff I can keep in stock, that aren't fish fingers and chips (which I don't have a problem with, just not multiple times a week). Ideas please!

I pre cook a couple of baking potatoes then lob them in the fridge. When they're needed I stick cheese and beans on top and microwave for about 40 secs. Serve with sliced cucumber/carrots/red pepper.

Also, omelette or scrambled egg, fresh pasta with pre made bolognaise or tomato/mixed veg sauce/Philly and peas and sweetcorn, falafel and hummus. The little ready made Annabel Karmel meals are decent as well.

It doesn’t take long to whip up a couple of pancakes which my DC eat with cheese and ham.

I pre cook a couple of baking potatoes then lob them in the fridge. You can freeze them too then defrost or stick straight in the moicrowave.

How about cheese on toast with halved cherry tomatoes on the side. One egg omelette. Savoury muffins freeze well and there's nothing wrong with sausage and beans or scrambled egg Smile
