My beloved kitchen aid is having some issues - the dough hook has bent at the top where you attach it to the mixer and then gets stuck. It's now gone all warped and dh had to get a hammer on it the other day to get it off.
The other attachments seem ok, just the dough hook.
I use the hook a few times a month for 10 mins a time so nothing excessive.
Is this a common issue? I've had the mixer for a few years but only recently started on the bread making so not had issues before. I can just buy a new hook but don't want to keep having to buy them.....
