What to serve with arancini?

I'm never sure what to serve arancini with to make a full meal. Not just salad. Any ideas?

Courgette fries?

Aren’t they just for snacking on while you cook the actual dinner?

Ooh, courgette fries is a good call. I think they probably should just be a snack/starter but they are too much effort not to be the main event!

Ratatouille

I have a rich, thick tomatoey sauce, plus something plain and green eg spinach, or green beans sautéed with garlic

Campari and soda or Bellini.

Aren’t they just balls of leftover risotto with mozzarella inside and rolled in egg and breadcrumbs?

More arancini. God, I love them. But yes, garlicky spinach and a puddle of sauce is what I usually go for.

Thanks for all the ideas. 4 year old DS1 had lots of fun making them and I served them with sausages and ratatouille (and mash and sweetcorn for DS1 because he wouldn't eat arancini or ratatouille).
