Alternative to cling film?

DH and I are fine we just put sandwiches in a small box which holds them fine but sons have lunchboxes to go in their school bags (1.3l lock top ones) and the sandwiches need to be wrapped in something to hold them together. Currently using cling film that I want to ditch and don't want to use beeswax wraps. Has anyone got any suggestions?

sandwich bags? they are reusable and should hold the sandwich together

Try one of these:

re-wrap-it.co.uk/

Specially designed for sandwiches in a range of materials. They're fab. No, I don't work for them.

Could you put the sandwiches in a small Tupperware into the lunchboxes? Then it's all reusable?
