Chocolate fudge cake

I have promised DH I will make him a chocolate fudge cake, to be served warm with ice cream obviously, as his birthday cake.

Does anyone have an amazing recipe they can point me towards?

I’ve never tried oil in a cake before.

I wish he’d asked a bit earlier and I’d have made a couple of practice cakes. (I do normally make a cake of some type, just not chocolate fudge).

It doesn't have much in the way of chocolate in it, is it very chocolatey?

That good food one is my go to recipe. Everyone loves it. Served warm with custard or ice cream is sublime but as it is is delicious too.
