Flavoured bread recipes

I have some active yeast that I want to use up before it expires and I end up chucking the tub away... again! Also starting maternity leave in a couple of weeks so lots of free time to experiment with a few recipes.

I fancy making some nice flavoured breads or buns. Maybe with olives in or onion, cheeses, that kind of thing. Thinking maybe a nice sweet bread would be nice to try actually.

Any suggested favourite recipes please? Thanks!

Make ordinary bread dough then add your "Taste" ingredients after knocking back after its first rise. For things like onions, lightly fry them up/soften them first. I did bread with apple and sage a few years ago, but the apple added so much extra liquid that I had to add quite a bit of extra flour. It would probably be worth cutting up the apple and soaking it in brine for several hours before to draw the liquid out.
