I followed a recipe which just told me to add 2 tea spoons of dried yeast. I've just looked at my tin of yeast and it says to dissolve it in water with sugar. I didn't do this!

Anyone? Will it be flat if I bake it?

Have you proved it already? Did it rise?

payperview · 28/01/2019 16:45

Yes it's risen. Will it be ok?

It'll be fine. Get it baking and enjoy.

Yes. Dissolving yeast with sugar is to get it going, and it's already got going - the bread has risen - so you're ok.

If it rose, it's fine.
Might need theorist prove to be a bit longer than therefore, as the yeast may have been a bit dlowercto get going, but if through is growing, the bread will be fine.
Enjoy!
