Funeral reception

2pm cremation followed by a small reception at our house. Would cake and tea coffee be okay?

Yes I think so - and maybe some scones? Don't forget something for the non tea/coffee drinkers

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I think that would be a lovely thing to do, especially if you serve things your relative was known to have loved. We did exactly this after my Dad's funeral, with all his favourite home baked goodies. It was very touching how many of his friends turned up with their own home-baking too.
