Do you HAVE to par boil potatoes before you roast them ??

No, not at all. They are often nicer if you do but it isn't necessary.

They are probably healthier if you don't boil first because they won't soak up so much fat.
Difficult to say how long - depends on your oven, type of potato, size of pieces etc...

they will bo OK , but can go more fluffy and crisper of you do boil thingy before for anbout 5-10 mins (depends on size you have cut them)..

Infact cut them small anyway, far nicer.
