Do you HAVE to par boil potatoes before you roast them ??

they will take yonks if you haven't boiled them a bit first.

No, not at all. They are often nicer if you do but it isn't necessary.

Oh good. Am trying to be good and stop using frozen stuff as much.

Will be chuffed if they are nice, my mum always makes lovely roasts and i'd love mine to be as good.

They are probably healthier if you don't boil first because they won't soak up so much fat.
Difficult to say how long - depends on your oven, type of potato, size of pieces etc...

they will bo OK , but can go more fluffy and crisper of you do boil thingy before for anbout 5-10 mins (depends on size you have cut them)..

Infact cut them small anyway, far nicer.

I don't par boil...they come out fine (but quite hard on the outside)
