M-Slow cooked beef joint, Yorkshire pudding, mashed potato, cauliflower cheese and carrots.
T- Jacket potatoes with cheese/beans/tuna or scrambled egg
W- fish pie with peas/cheese and onion crisp bake for fish hater DS1
T- pasta with tomato sauce
F- lamb meatballs in flatbread with salad
S- take away
S- roast chicken with roast veg and cous cous

Struggling a bit as a family of 6 when Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri and Sat are all days when due to various activities/work there needs to be 3 or even 4 sittings. Nobody except me will really eat food reheated in the microwave Hmm

notso things that are purely done in the slow cooker would be good? I'm sure other people will have more ideas, but any stews work well. Jacket potatoes are supppsed to be good in the slow cooker as well so you could do something like pulled pork and jackets?

We have some non meat eaters so ..
(Chicken) Caesar salad
Baked chickpea, spinach and sweet potato salad, steak on the side
Beef nachos, quorn mince nachos, with salsa, guacamole, sour cream
Not sure about rest of week yet

I made lasagne and chili con carne at the weekend to have this week. I also bought ready made curry for a lazy day. Other things we're having is macaroni cheese/ slow cooker gammon / sausage casserole all with veg and potatoes.

Thanks @Spam88, your right I don't use the slow cooker enough on the busier days. I only tend to use it for chilli, curry or joints of meat.

Yesterday: vegetable Thai red curry with rice
Tonight: biriyani with roasted cauliflower
Tomorrow: lentil chilli with wedges
Thursday: bean burger with veg and wedges
Friday: lentil and mushroom Bolognese

Yesterday: Persian 'kabob' (skewers of chicken marinated in yoghurt, saffron and onion then grilled)/skewers of veg and halloumi, served with rice, salad and minty yoghurt

Today: Curry night - butternut squash curry/beef massaman curry, rice and carrot salad

Wednesday: fish pie, carrots, maybe crusty bread

Thursday: 'brinner' (breakfast for dinner) - sausages/veggie sausages, fried egg, potato hash, mushrooms and tomatos

Friday: tacos with chilli con carne/three bean chilli and toppings

Saturday: out

Sunday: pizza night with various toppings...

No I use a week to view diary to for meals we are having, any prep I need to do for the week and any items I need to buy next time I'm going shopping. Then freezer/cupboard list again an A4 pad and just a simple excel spreadsheet.

Yesterday was pulled pork rolls with salad

Today will be Chilli Beef Enchiladas

Tomorrow Sweet Potato Soup

And then we're going away for the weekend, la la la !!
