We are all veggie but one dd doesn't like quorn mince so looking for alternatives. She loves homemade lentil soup so figure she might like a lentil bolognese so hoping someone might have a good tried and tested recipe to share. Any other lentil recipes much appreciated too!

This lentil lasagne is lovely - can just use the sauce for bolognese www.bbc.com/food/recipes/puy_lentil_lasagne_23244

And the lentil and sausage stew on this link is our all time favourite lentil recipe - it is SO delicious. Can sub chicken stock for veg and veg sausages of course. I omit the celery (because it’s disgusting) and up the carrots a bit instead www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2009/nov/15/nigel-slater-bean-lentil-recipes

I make a lovely green lentil pasta sauce which DH and DD love. Just onion, carrot and celery (cut up in food processor for ease) fried till soft and then add passata, tin of tomatoes, can of beans (I put haricot and cannalinni beans in) plus big handful of green lentils and some oregano and basil. Then cook till lentils are soft - mine took just over an hour and a half. Served with spaghetti and grated cheese.
