Pasta sauce in a slow cooker

Please may I have the best slow cooker tomato pasta sauce recipe you have.
I’m just rubbish at it and need help.

1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
200ml red wine
1 beef stock cube
½ tsp dried oregano
3 tbsp tomato purée
400g tin chopped tomatoes with basil
2 bay leaves
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper

Fry onion and garlic to brown. Put all the ingredients into your slow cooker and stir well. Set your slow cooker to low and cook for 8 hrs.
Take the bay leaves out just before serving. I sometimes add a couple of spoons of cream if I have any.
