Aubergine and pea curry is a success in our house. Spinach and chick pea too. She is a very amusing writer as well. Have you got her other book, "Made in India"? That's very funny where she is writing about Indian families.

Only tried the stuffed paratha so far, but it was very nice, and very easy to make. Following with interest!

Paneer butter masala is a hit in our house.

Hana barra kebabs with burnt lime raids also good - the kebabs took ages to make though!

Also liked the hill station salad too!

Must try more new recipes this year

Aloo chana chaat was good.

The daals are nice, and the Punjabi potato curry. There’s a butternut squash thing with fresh coriander which was lovely - really fresh tasting.

Agree about the kebabs - delicious but I’ve only made them once. The onion bhajis are really nice.

There's one with squash and black beans that is absolutely amazing. Worth serving with the tamarind rice she recommends as well. Also, the pea soup is gorgeous!

Elephant ear Naans

Momos

the hill station salad is amazing, I have yet to cook a bad recipe from it and I've used the book a lot over the last year

Another vote for paneer butter masala - it's brilliant.
Keep meaning to try the bhajis and the recipe which is a chaat type thing with crispy potatoes.

Sweet potato vindaloo

Brussel sprouts thoran

It's all so yummy!

one of my favourite books - won't repeat others favourites but will add the baked bhajis - so so easy and very tasty

Also - her pork cheek vindaloo (available as recipe on her website -meerasodha.com/pig-cheek-vindaloo/) is delicious! (for non vegetarians obviously)
