New slow cooker

Hi All. I'm a rubbish cook but got a slow cooker for Christmas and want to get it going. It came with a recipe book but the recipes are a bit fancy and not very 4 year old friendly. Any great recipe suggestions?

I’ve just dusted off my crock pot - I’m looking at recipes online (which probably aren’t 4yo friendly) but they all require alot of prep, browning, frying etc. It seems to defeat the convenience aspect, especially for weekday meals. How much prep can be done the night before?
