Ideas for a Christmas starter

Hi all,

I'm after ideas for an easy (ish) starter for Christmas Day?

It needs to be portable as taking it to a friends (we are all bringing a different course). I'm working till late Christmas Eve so no chance to prepare anything the day before. It needs to feed 7 people.

Ideas? 🤔🤔

Mackerel pate

Smoked salmon mousse parcels

Goats cheese tarts with caramelised onion jam

Ps Xiao I hate seafood 😂. Sorry I should have mentioned that! The tarts sound promising tho x

I’m doing roasted figs, topped with blue cheese, wrapped in prosciutto with a few leaves and a honey and balsamic dressing.
Just top and wrap figs at home and take on tray ready to go in oven. Then just put leaves on plates when you get there.
