Lamb curry

Can anyone recommend their favourite lamb curry recipe?

I’m doing a curry night for friends next week, I cook lots of Indian food but mostly veggie.

I’ll probably make the pistachio chicken curry from Made in India and serve with rice and malabar parathas as well as some potato and pea samosas and onion bhajis.

So not a very ‘authentic’ combination of dishes just stuff people will enjoy.

Madhur Jaffrey's Lamb Bhuna, you can buy a blend of dry spices but if you do it with the toasted whole spices there is nothing like it. www.them-apples.co.uk/2009/06/bhuna-gosht-or-lamb-bhuna/

Jamie Oliver's lamb and chickpea curry is delicious too, south Asian with curry leaves, coconut milk and mustard seeds: www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/lamb-recipes/lamb-chickpea-curry/

This south Indian curry is my go-to. It's very tasty.

Moroccan lamb tagine with dried apricots. Really easy, too. You can make it easier by buying the ta-el-hanout spice as a ready made mix (Tesco), though use lots, if you do, as it's very mild. Most recipes include a tiny bit of honey too, and chickpeas.

I like Mary Berry's lamb Dhansak. It's milder than id normally gi for and works with or without the lentils but I think if you stick with something tomato based, warm spice and a bit sweet you're on to a winner.

Can't link but recipe in Classic Mary Berry or bbc website.
