Not sure how I’ve got to nearly 50 and don’t know the answer to this, but cam butter be kept in a dish permanently out of the fridge? My friends who have abandoned spreadable butter say yes but Internet seems to say no. And any butter dish recommendations! Thanks

I keep my better in a butter dish out of the fridge, it’s fine, especially at this time of year.

Yes I always use block butter rather than spreadable and it sits in a butter dish on the worktop. Not when it’s very hot weather though but but it’s fine most of the year.

Get a butter dish with an actual trough/dip for the butter to sit in. The one I’ve got is flat and it’s hard not to keep it from looking messy.

Mmmmm butter 😋

We do this and it's fine. I only leave out half a pack at a time. In our house that amount never has time to go off!

Thank you very much for the advice! Got my eye on some stylish dishes! X
