Halfing a recipe

The recipe I want to bake calls for 5 egg yolks, what’s the easiest way to half it?

Make 60% of it.

Blimey LittleBearPad that's genius. I'd have separated the eggs, beaten the yolks, then faffed about trying to divide the mixture into two equal parts. Making 60% of it is a much better idea altogether & saves mess & waste. My mind is blown
