I made the BBC Good Food one tonight and there’s a lot left over; how long will it keep in the fridge?

2-3 days I would think. Or you could freeze in individual portions

Livedandlearned · 27/11/2018 20:24

Always a three day rule with cooked foods

DramaAlpaca · 27/11/2018 20:25

I have a three day rule too.

Thank you
If I freeze, will I defrost before Re heating or can I Re cook from frozen?

Lasagne I'd probably say 4-5 days is fine.
If you freeze it, defrost it first, but you could defrost on a low heat on the oven, then whack it up. Just make sure it's hot all the way through to the middle.

thank you. Can you believe that I've got all the way to my early 50s without having made a decent lasagne?

Mine rarely lasts more than 12 hours, but that's teenagers for you.

I'm a bit more lax than others, I have a 7 day rule for cooked food in the fridge.

I made one on Monday and I'll be having the last of it tomorrow. It was made with a previously frozen Bolognese sauce too Grin
