Quick question about leftovers.

I made a paella tonight with fresh veg and rice but leftover roast chicken from last night.

There's 2 full portions leftover as the recipe I used ended up making loads.

Can I fridge them and eat for lunch tomorrow, pressumanly cold as chicken is already reheated, or do I have to bin because of that?

I personally would eat it tomorrow but would heat it to piping hot rather then eating it cold

I would

I would too!

I would eat it, but as pp said, it needs to be thoroughly heated throuhg to piping hot. Underheated/cold rice is more of a problem than reheated chicken.

The dangers with rice are caused by not cooling quickly enough, not eating it cold, per se.

It was more the twice reheated chicken I was worried, I have been known to eat leftover Chinese food from a plate on the counter 24 hours later without heating so the rice doesn't bother me 😳
