Whipping cream and chocolate - will it work?

I want to mix melted white chocolate and whipped cream together- will it work? Any tips of how to do it so the whole thing doesn't end in a messy puddle!

Are you whipping the cream first? Is it whipping cream or double? Never used whipping so not sure how that behaves, but have made many a ganache by melting white choc into hot cream.

No reason why it shouldn't mix reasonably well into cold whisked cream as well, but might be worth trying a small amount first just in case!

I'd melt the white chocolate with a small amount of cream, let it cool slightly, then mix it with the rest of the cream and whip

Thanks folks. Turns out I didn't have to make a call on what method to try as my 3 year old decided to wear the cream pot as a hat, dropped it and it burst all over the floor!

oh no!!! I thought you were going to say they ate all the chocolate - what a nightmare!
