Quick question: I froze a joint of ham between Christmas at new year last year , at -20, according to my freezer. I forgot to use it. So, 9 months ago.

Is it safe or should I bin? Thanks.

Was it cured or uncared? Cooked or uncooked?

Defrost it, and if it smells at all off, bin it. If it smells ok, like it would if it hadn't been frozen, then cook it up. (I would give this advice whether it had been frozen 9 days or 9 years though!!)

It was Christmas ham. Tesco Finest Wiltshire, whatever that is. I doubt it was smoked. So salted, I expect.
