Is this safe to eat?

I ordered these veggie meatballs from Asda, which the packet says have been previously frozen and do not refreeze:

DH put them in the freezer. I have people coming for Sunday lunch tomorrow and they would have been for the vegetarians.
Safe to cook and serve, or should I chuck them and send DH out to buy more?
Thanks in advance..

They will be fine.

I’d eat them, but wouldn’t serve to guests; I’d send him for some more.

Thanks. I'm the only full-time vegetarian who'll be eating but I know a couple of others who eat less meat will prefer them to the lamb we're having too.

I wouldn't risk it but that's me.
