Advice on starters to go with Nigella's Thai Yellow Pumpkin Curry

Hi there foodies,

Panicking about a forthcoming dinner party - I'll only have a couple of hours to prepare as I'll be working all day. So I'm doing Nigella's salmon and pumpkin curry as I can prepare it the night before and just add the salmon 5 minutes before serving on the day. I'll serve it with rice but I am stuck as to what else to d too go with it - what can I do for a simple but gorgeous starter and also any ideas for puddings? Either to cook in advance or something quick to do on the day. Also, any ideas for an appropriate salad or other accompaniment for the main?

Thanks so much!

Blessings x

Also - does anyone have a favourite red Thai curry paste that they can recommend? Grin

For starters serve Thai spring rolls or satay chicken skewers with peanut sauce or this minced chicken salad www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4753/thai-minced-chicken-salad
For pudding, serve coconut ice cream with mango coulis.
Prawn crackers and popadoms are both fine it's Thai curry and would not be considered out of place. They're served at my local Thai restaurant.
