I have a KitchenAid one that has never done the job properly from new, so needs sending back. I need a good, reliable one please.

Magimix 5200xl. It does everything except cook the food. Really sharp blades, 3 different sized bowls, loads of attachments but it isn't cheap. I got mine from Amazon - mine was approx. £300.

Magimix. Mine is over 15 years old and used almost daily.

Brilliant, thank you!

I came on for inspiration as I need one as well but the Magimix is £269 on Amazon! Any cheaper one that are also good?

Bump - ideally something a bit cheaper than the Magimix!

Are you looking for an all bells and whistles processor, or a chopper? Magimix does a chopper/purée-er for £60 that is pretty good and is a which Best Buy. I've heard good things about the Kenwood Multi-pro home as well which is £50 and does slicing/grating/chopping.

I have a proper big Magimix and I love it...but it was a combined birthday/Christmas present to myself 8 years ago and still going strong so I figure it was worth it! The motor is amazingly powerful compared to other processors I've used.

Probably all bells and whistles. Not a little chopper.

I got this one about 8 years ago. It was a which best buy and a fraction of the cost of the trendy ones.

Absolutely love it and use it every day.
