So I want to cook a joint of gammon in the slow cooker. Tell me the best recipe for it? I've used coke before but wasn't sure if anyone recommends another way?

I rarely do gammon in coke in the SC. I always do it on the hob

Pork shoulder in bbq and cola in the SC is delicious

Coke is awesome.

Alternatively chop one onion into quarters, a couple of carrots, a stick of celery, some herbs and some peppercorns. Bung it all in with the gammon and add enough water to cover the gammon. Gammon will taste lovely and you have a really nice stock for some homemade soup

Gammon
Tin of pineapple
Top up with water
Done!!

It's even better the next day cold Smile

Gammon.
Throw over a fair amount of soft brown sugar.
Cook long and slow.
Delicious!
